Friday is a busy, busy day for events including “The Infection Monologues”.

Looking for things to do? The Weekend Calendar is UP, so you have no excuse…TONS of stuff to choose from, including lots of theater options in addition to the usual list of bar/club events. The Infection Monologues @ Erickson Theatre Off Broadway. Powerful, timely, and well acted piece, The Infection Monologues is a touching, humorous, and ground breaking narrative on living with HIV more than thirty years into the epidemic 7pm, $10-$15. REVIEW
Dina Martina Christmas Show @ Rebar. ALL NEW holiday extravaganza guarantees Dina Martina’s sidesplitting blend of low-brow, top-notch comedy and near-acid-trip surrealism. 8pm, $20. 21+
Ham for the Holidays: A Lard Day’s Night @ Theatre Off Jackson. Seattle sketch mavens Lisa Koch and Peggy Platt are back with the 11th edition of their cult holiday show, chock full of dysfunctional characters, tacky costumes, and more wigs than Lady GaGa. 7:30pm, $23. Adult Humor
Sylvia and Tor’s Christmas Cabaret @ West Seattle Senior Center. After a few months off from shows Sylvia and Tor come back for a special Holiday Cabaret. A whole bunch of new songs and some old favorites! 7pm: Drinks & Snacks, 8pm: Show, $8. Limited Seating.
Cinderella @ 5th Avenue Theatre. When the shoe fits, the unlikeliest of girls becomes a princess, and dreams really do come true. Beloved Seattle thespian, Nick Garrison is back in drag as one of the nasty bitches, with his frequent pal/co-star the divine Sarah Rudinoff as his partner in crime 8pm.
Hairspray @ Seattle Musical Theatre. Prepare yourself for some of the craziest dancing and biggest hair ever seen, Hairspray gives a hilarious and emotionally poignant tribute to the courage needed to break down the walls that separate us, and does it with style! 7:30pm. All Ages

Mark Morris Dance Group @ Moore Theatre. The Seattle premiere of Festival Dance is a celebratory dance that evokes joy and mirth as six couples move about the stage in a blissful pastoral, set to a lyrical piano trio by Johann Nepomuk Hummel 7:30pm, $25-$82. All Ages
