As Seattle Pride Month begins, 2012 Seattle Pride Idol, Chase Silva, has released his debut single, “Free To Be Me”, as a Pride Anthem for the LGBT community.  The original single features Sean Grasty & Rikky Rivera, known internationally as GROOVE ADDIX, who have worked with some of the biggest names in dance music including SuSu Bobien, Joi Cardwell, Kenny Dope, Sophia May, Annette Taylor, DJ Spinna, John Julius Knight & Christian Hornbostel just to name a few.

Seattle, and lent his time and talent to local nonprofit organizations from Seattle Counseling Service to Official Pride Asia, and ACLU of Seattle and Equal Rights Washington.

Chase has been a positive, strong member of the gay community since I have known him (over 20 years). As a young girl in high school lacking self-confidence, Chase made me feel good about who i was and what i offer the world simply by living that life everyday. He exemplifies what it means to be proud of who you are and embracing it to the fullest. I can’t wait to see where his talents lead him next.
