LGBTQ Allyship believes that in order to build strong communities we must have strong leaders. We are now accepting applications for our six-month LGBTQ+ Housing Justice Leadership Institute. Our goal is to build and train 10 to 12 LGBTQ+ individuals that live in South King County or South Seattle around LGBTQ+ housing justice & equity.
Leaders will become familiar with the South King County housing advocacy community, the racial and LGBTQ history of housing in Seattle and South King County, advocacy skills, mobilization, community organizing skills and an intersectional analysis around LGBTQ+ housing justice & equity.
