Wizards Game Night for LGBTQ Youth

December 12, 2018 @ 4:00 pm - 9:30 pm

LGBTQ youth are invited to a special opportunity to learn and play games created by Wizards of the Coast including Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and Dungeon Mayhem! Wizards employees will be at Lambert House to teach and facilitate games.

Jeremy Crawford, the lead designer of the D&D Player’s Handbook, will facilitate a D&D game. In D&D, this is known as being the Dungeon Master (DM). Other Wizards of the Coast employees will teach and facilitate games of Magic: The Gathering, and Dungeon Mayhem.

Short game descriptions:

“Magic: The Gather” is an enticing strategy card game with 25 years’ worth of stories, characters, and art.

“Dungeons and Dragons (D&D)” is a role playing game- you and your friends tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests.

“Dungeon Mayhem” is an action packed Dungeons & Dragons themed card game- you win by being the last adventurer standing.

There will be Wizards of the Coast swag giveaways during the event!

No experience required for any of the games, and all game supplies are provided. You can bring your own Magic decks to play with, too!

Youth must be between the ages of 11 & 22, signed parent consent required for youth ages 11 & 12. Lambert House is an alcohol and drug free space. We have a 20-25 minute required orientation for all new youth, so please plan to arrive by 4pm if you have not been to Lambert House before and want to participate in games at 4:30pm.
