Openly gay candidate running for Port of Seattle

Hard to believe we are already talking about candidates nearly five months before the next Primary Election in August of 2009 but Port of Seattle candidate Rob Holland got our attention. Just take a look at his endorsements already.

If he wins his bid for port commissioner, Holland will be the first African American and first openly gay man to serve on the Port of Seattle board. But he’s not running on his cuteness, gayness, or African American-ness.
