Gay Ol’ Purim Party at Baltic Room

March 4, 2009• byBill W

Gay Ol’ Purim is a Purim party for Seattle’s Queer Jewish community and friends on Wednesday March 11, 2009. Celebrate the holiday of Purim, which is often viewed as the Jewish coming out holiday in honor of Esther’s “coming out” as a Jew. The party will be held from 9pm – 12:30am at Baltic Room, 1207 Pine St., near Melrose Ave.

The evening will feature a costume party, burlesque performance by Miss Indigo Blue, a drag Purim spiel, and, of course, drinks and dancing with music mixed by DJ Mathematix.
