LGBTQ Labor Educators Training

LGBTQ Allyship invites you to empower your peers around their rights as queer, gender non-conforming and transgender low-wage workers in Seattle. We are accepting only 15 amazing justice-seeking trans and queer people to engage in our train-the-trainer workshops in April 2017 so apply today!

The first training is 3 hours and happening on April 25th and the second workshop is 3 hours and will be on April 26th. These workshops will prepare you to facilitate one of our four community-wide trans and queer workers’ rights trainings starting in June 2017, as well as participate in our monthly LGBTQ Workers Support Group.

YOU can become a Trans Worker Advocate (if you identify as part of the transgender community)
YOU can become an Allyship LGBTQ worker presenter
YOU can share your worker story with public officials as part of Allyship’s Storysharing Project
YOU can be part of an LGBTQ Workers’ Rights Committee to help protect LGBTQ Workers Rights
YOU can fight for other QT economic justice policies at the city level
YOU can be part of a larger community of activists fighting for LGBTQ economic justice
YOU can become a skilled QT economic justice change agent!
WHO CAN APPLY?
Anyone who self identifies as a worker/employee and part of the LGBTQ and questioning community
