Designing the Amazon Spheres: Gardens Under Glass

Curious about the iconic Spheres project at Amazon.com’s South Lake Union campus? Learn their story from David Sadinsky, a lead designer on the project who will share how his team created a restorative garden as the centerpiece of a new neighborhood.
About the speaker:
David Sadinsky is a designer with over 20 years’ experience. In addition to the Amazon Spheres, he has designed skyscrapers, theaters and operable roofs, with US patents in kinetic design and industrial process. He has led projects for NASA, The Boeing Company, the Houston Astros and the Pacific Science Center. His work can be seen in New York, Moscow, Tel Aviv and Seattle.
When: Doors open at 6:40 p.m., lecture begins at 7 p.m.

Cost: $5 for general admission, free for members
