Beat the traffic, save the planet, improve your health, explore your community, rock some helmet hair, whatever your reasons, grab your friends and pedal on over for a night that celebrates bicycling in Seattle.

SAM Performs
6–8 pm
Pony Time/Wimps
Unbuckle your seat-belts and bike over to hear two of Seattle’s best punk-rock bands. Pony Time kicks it off with their unique brand of danceable punk combining hints of riot grrrl beats and garage grit. Wimps closes out the night. This three-piece band delivers a jaunty, neurotic sound that twists common day-to-day woes into call-and-response songs championing boredom, sardonic wit, and the mundane intricacies of life.

SAM Creates
6–8 pm
“Re-Cycled Styles” art activity with Janet Fagan
Create jewelry and key rings using recycled bike inner tubes with artist Janet Fagan. Cut out abstract shapes inspired by Sam Vernon’s monochromatic graphic installation in the PACCAR Pavilion to create your own Bike Night style accessories.

Spend the rest of the evening drawing! Capture the sculptures, plant life, and beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound through self-guided drawing.

My Favorite Things: Highly Opinionated Public Tour
6:45 pm
My Favorite Things tours bring some of the most opinionated and fascinating artists, cultural producers, and community figures into the galleries to discuss their favorite works of art.

5:45–7:45 pm
Grab a bite and have a drink from Taste and some of Seattle’s best food trucks.
