How close are we to experiencing another human’s thoughts and senses for ourselves? As VR, AR, and other emerging technologies evolve, how will these new technologies impact our construct of society? On June 5, POP and SIFF present a special screening of Douglas Trumbull’s 1983 sci-fi film, Brainstorm, followed by a panel discussion with key experts hosted by POP. We’ll be joined by the film’s director, Douglas Trumbull, known for his work on Bladerunner, 2001: Space Odyssey and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
