Gay City Arts Presents Adept: A Sick & Disabled LGBTQ Show

Adept will feature poetry, storytelling, dance, comedy, music, and JOY from sick and disabled LGBTQ people. “The cruelty of ableism: it robs us from each other.” (Disability Justice advocate and writer, Mia Mingus) This show intends to interrupt that separation by bringing the community together to celebrate sick and disabled voices. The joy of community is that it returns us to one another. The show will be ASL and Deaf/Blind interpreted, and also have live subtitling.
