HER Seattle: A Conversation about Race & Making Connections

March 15, 2019 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

HER Seattle presents its first community conversation. We are bringing together a panel queer leaders to discuss how race impacts the connections we make within our community. Have it be dating or making friends, how has race influenced the ways we connect with others? This conversation will include (but not be limited to) topics discussing how biases, discrimination, tokenism, colorism, stereotypes, and prejudices inhibit our abilities to connect with one another.
