Now That’s What I Call Funhouse!
October 28, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
The Funhouse Family & Vermillion Art Gallery and Bar Present:
Now That’s What I Call FUNHOUSE!
An Evening of 90s Cover Bands
The Screaming Multitudes
DJ set by Kyte Mika
Hosted by the Funhouse Family PRESENTOR (Isabel Moskowitz) and ASSISTIN’ (Lee Yang).
The Funhouse Family invites you to our first ever concert series, an evening of 90s cover bands by beloved local musicians. Watch as the Funhouse Family Presentor and Assistin’ lead us on a musical journey through one of the most prolific decades, the 90s. We encourage you to come in your Halloween costume (90s costumes encouraged). Enjoy the music and nostalgia while learning about our emerging production company.
The Funhouse Family produces subversive and experimental original content characterized by a multi-genre format that reaches beyond traditional theatrical norms. Each live show is comprised of a series of short plays or musical acts that, when viewed together, give audiences an experience similar to that of walking through a funhouse. As soon as you settle in, the room starts spinning and the floor falls out from under you.
Our shows serve as a rotating platform for diverse up-and-coming playwrights, directors, actors, designers, and musicians. We strive to make theatre accessible to all audiences by working with artists from a wide variety of creative backgrounds, including theatre arts, music, film, graphic design, comedy, and literary arts. The creators of Funhouse want artists to take bold risks in their storytelling.
