Queer Injection Workshop

Many queer and trans people inject medication, and we want to do it

When: Tuesday, Oct 29 from 6:30-8pm
Where: The Q Center, HUB 315
Who: Queer folks and allies who want to learn about injection and needle safety
Plus..There will be snacks

This workshop is for queer people and allies who want to learn about injection techniques and needle disposal.

Nurse Jill Tonge-Seymour will teach best practices for safe and efficient injection techniques, show how to best dispose of used needles, and answer your questions.

Learn about injection techniques, watch demos, and practice.
Content will be tailored to HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy).

Q Center Advisor Lev will answer questions about resources for trans folks on campus..

Jill Tonge-Seymour, RN (she/her/hers) is a member of the Hall Health gender-affirming care team at UW.
Lev Cunningham, MSW (they/them & he/him) is the Advisor at the Q Center.
