Petersen’s boundless curiosity and ingenuity, his sense of humor and sense of self, his ability to create joyful expression from positive or painful experiences, permeates his art, video, and animation. The photographs, drawings, prints, sculptures, and videos on display in Evergreen Gallery form a seamless continuity with Petersen’s stop-motion animated film Torrey Pines.
