WSLO Community Social @ CC Attles
August 26 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
|Recurring Event (See all)
An event every month that begins at 3:00pm on day Fourth of the month, repeating until September 30, 2023
Washington State Leather Organization is now hosting a monthly Community Social. Come join us every fourth Saturday at CC’s Seattle!
We aim to help get all Washington state organizations back to our roots of supporting each other and networking around potential opportunities. Considering our current political climate and recent decisions by the Supreme Court, supporting each other demands renewed effort.
Our community holds a wealth of valuable and diverse talent, so we want to connect volunteers with work they can care about and believe in. With Summer coming to an end we expect that many organizations will be holding events and fundraisers — let’s provide cross support for our Washington folkx and help each other as best we can.
This event does not have a dress code, but we do encourage you to dress to represent your organization. Feel free to invite anyone you like, this event is open to the community. Please remember that this is a 21 and over event.
We look forward to seeing you there! We are stronger TOGETHER.

About the Author: Michael Strangeways
As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
