Capitol Hill takeover this weekend

The Capital Hill Block Party takes over Capitol Hill this weekend. Pike Street from Broadway Ave east to 12th Ave will be closed for this huge musical event. While this is a very gay friendly event it is packed mostly with straight diehard indie music buffs. Lots of drinking and craziness so expect an unusual weekend on the Hill. In the evening, following the daily Block Party events, hundreds of straight and druken hip music fans will make their way into the nearby clubs that they may be unfamilar with.
