Just across the water from Seattle you will find Woodinville, WA and its many wineries. While Yakima Valley and Walla Walla are several hours away, Woodinville is just 20 minutes and easily visited by car.

Or for an over the top experience, if you have five hours to spare, make a reservation at Herb Farm for their 9 course feast with wine pairings ($189). Booked up way in advance. Probably a place you want to visit on a day that you are not wine tasting.
So why not stay the night in Woodinville. There is not a nicer resort in the area than Wlliows Lodge.
April 12th-13th 2008 is the “Passport to Woodinville.”
The event costs $50 and they go on sale Feb 1, 2008.
