Seattle’s Capitol Hill Speakeasy Ratted Out

September 7, 2007• bySeattle Gay Scene

Well the Seattle PI Blog provided their exposé about what they are called a “speak-easy” on Capitol Hill in Seattle that allegedly may have been serving liquor after 2 am. The newspaper reported that at 3 am Sunday morning the police attempted to investigate but wrote no infractions. Many people are upset by this ratting out.

The Stranger Newspaper’s SLOG also reported that the speakeasy they visited a year ago was no longer “gaming” and indeed a “private club.”

I suppose many in Seattle are just waiting for the bar hours to be extended past 2 am like many other big cities in the world.

Looks like for now that this party may be over.
