The Elite opens, brighter than ever

December 6, 2007• bySeattle Gay Scene

Earlier in the week, Kirk reported on here about the opening of the Elite at its new location on E Olive Way. The Elite, the oldest gay bar on Capitol Hill in Seattle, was forced to close nearly a year ago at its former location on Broadway.

Their new digs are quite impressive and they are already seeing a steady stream of customers created only by word of mouth since their opening on Saturday December 1st. The sign above the bar says “Enter As Strangers – Leave As Friends.” It never seemed more evident than at the new Elite. Most likely Kay the manager will be there to serve you.

The Elite is located at: 1510 E Olive Way.
Open Noon to Midnight Sun – Thu & till 2 am Fri/Sat

We went really early in order to avoid people in these pictures.
