SeattlePrideFest.com is set to go online Feb. 1 and many are waiting with anxious anticipation over what this year will offer. The title “we’re all the same. a little bit different” appears to be the theme. The theme for this year’s downtown Pride Parade will be “Out for Change.”
Current web page for Seattle PrideFest.
Kristine W already has Seattle PrideFest listed on her calendar for June 29 and I am sure there will be a lot of other music and entertainment once they go online and start formal announcements.
It will be a very busy and exciting Seattle for two weeks in June. With the West Coast’s largest Gay Expo “It’s About Life” at the Convention Center June 20 – 22, Seattle PrideFest at Seattle Center from June 28 – 29 and the Seattle Pride Parade in downtown on June 29 at 11 am down 4th Ave.
Still no word about the fate of the March on Broadway and QueerFest in Volunteer Park which last year took place the day before Sunday’s downtown Pride Parade and PrideFest at Seattle Center. It appears that last year’s organizer, the Seattle LGBT Center, will change focus by “restructuring to provide services for the elderly and other ‘under served members of the community.'”
