If the bitter cold gives you the blues get out and at least dream about warm places with gay friendly faces in other parts of the world.
The Seattle Travel Show hits Seattle Center Exhibition Hall with 130 travel companies and 300 travel professionals from around the world. While it is not specifically a “gay” Travel Show there is still plenty of pertinent travel information for all.
Celebrity traveler Rick Steves, who taught us for years how to do Europe Through The Back Door, will speak Saturday Jan 26 at 3 PM in the Travel Theater on the topic of “Travel as a Political Act.”
World travel expert and undisputed packing pro, Anne McAlpin will teach you how to pack all that “essential” stuff you take on your weekend trips into your luggage. So you may ask, what does she know? Well, Anne’s TV appearances include, Oprah and The Today Show. She will give two demonstrations per day (10:30 AM & 1 PM Saturday; 11 AM & 1 PM Sunday) in the Speakers Theater.
Go to their website and look at the Theater Schedules for the weekend. It is quite impressive with something of interest for everyone.
