CABARET at the 5th Avenue begins today

5th Avenue Theatre’s long anticipated production of CABARET has arrived from March 25 – April 13, 2008 with local fringe theater star Nick Garrison as the Emcee.

Nick Garrison played the titular role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch at Re-bar (2000, 2004), in San Francisco, Chicago (Joseph Jefferson Best Actor Award) and in the U.K. Just some of his additional credits include: Rocky Horror Show at the 5th Avenue Theatre. Valley Of The Dolls, Vera Wilde, Project X, and (L)Imitations Of Life at the Empty Space Theatre. Dirty Little Showtunes, Randee Sparks: Semi-Precious, Deflowered In The Attic, The Misanthrope, and What You Sing Might Save You at Re-Bar. And in New York: Mae West’s Sex. Humana Festival: Aloha, Say The Pretty Girls and Life Under Thirty. His Film and Television credits include Deadline, Strangers With Candy, and Creatures From The Pink Lagoon.

Previews are March 25-26 with opening night on March 27.
