DOLLHOUSE, held at the Lo_Fi Performance Gallery, has settled into every 3rd Saturday night of the month. Lo_Fi is an amazing event space on Eastlake Ave with an equally fabulous view of the Space Needle. And Dollhouse does it much like they do in L.A., with two rooms of music catering to different tastes in dance beats, helping bring all the ladies together into one event. Patrons can settle into either room with the music matching their mood for the night or hop back and forth. Be sure to bring plenty of cash because drinks can be expensive here but they are consistently strong so a few drinks can go a long way here. Fabulously, the cover is only $5.
DJ Joy has put up every bit of her experience and energy into allowing Dollhouse to grow into a successful monthly event. It has become so much more than just being another club night by rolling the concept of Evolve, formerly held at Sole Repair Shop, into one combined event, Dollhouse at Lo_Fi, with a large amount of assistance from Jen Woolfe, Ricki Leigh (Dollhouse partner and resident DJ) and other popular female DJ’s.
