Pacific Northwest Ballet wraps up its acclaimed 2007-2008 season with 8 ENCORES, a crowd-pleasing reprise of the past year’s greatest hits. An evening of thrilling selections and inspired performances, the program will feature PNB’s entire company and will give its audience the opportunity to bid a fond farewell to departing dancers. 8 ENCORES will be performed one night only, Sunday, June 8 at 6:30 p.m. at McCaw Hall.

8 ENCORES features Susan Stroman’s TAKE FIVE…More or Less and David Parson’s Caught, as well as excerpts or pas de deux from Jerome Robbins’ Fancy Free and In the Night, Jean-Christophe Maillot’s Roméo et Juliete, Ulysses Dove’s Vespers, and two classic works by George Balanchine: Square Dance and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Tickets to 8 ENCORES range in price from $20 to $150 and may be purchased online at www.pnb.org or in person at the PNB Box Office at 301 Mercer Street.

“8 ENCORES is one of the most exciting performances of the year,” said Artistic Director Peter Boal. “It’s our last look at favorite works and favorite dancers. This year’s performance draws from a rich repertoire. The evening promises to be both exhilarating and emotional.”
