Queer Control Records “Pass the Torch” Tour comes to Seattle May 31st

May 29, 2008• bySeattle Gay Scene

The QCR artists that will be participating in the “Pass the Torch” Tour include Pariah Piranha, a queer girl band from York, PA; Tough Tough Skin, a trans-guy band from Minneapolis, MN; 8 Inch Betsy, a queer girl band from Chicago, IL; Fruit Punch, a queer punk band from Philadelphia, PA, and Oi! Gays, a queer girl band from San Francisco, CA.

QCR is all about reenergizing queercore music and serving as a platform for some of the amazing queer bands out there. These guys are better than a lot of indie bands that are blowing up in the ‘straight’ world. It is our hope that the resources and support we can offer our bands will help to bridge that gap.

The “Pass the Torch” Tour by Queer Control Records is on Saturday, May 31 at The Doomnest, 2920 E Olive St. starting at 8 pm.

QCR is an independent non-profit record label for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, and questioning (LGBTIQQ) community.
