Capitol Hill Block Party – The biggest annual street party of live bands & revelry on the Hill. Mostly straight but gay friendly: $18.
Check out the King Cobra Stage which features the bands Lesbian, The Heavy Hearts, Pleasureboaters, Black Whale, Airborne Toxic Event, Truckasaurus and Champagne Champagne.

Angels in America: Perestroika @ ReAct Theatre – 8 pm. Tony Kushner’s award-winning Gay Fantasia set during the 1980s era of greed, conservatism, sexual politics, and the discovery of AIDS.

Cuff Complex: Country Western Dancing – 7:30 to 10:30 pm.

Cuff Complex: Hi-Energy Dancing with DJ Stacey until 3 am: $5

This is a social group that is an alternative to the bar scene.
