A Little Info On Guns N Bombs:
L.A. production tandem Guns N Bombs beat the bloghaus types to the punch by signing with trés chic French label Kitsuné late in 2006 (and on a MySpace message no less). Their rip-snorting “Nothing Is Getting Us Anywhere” shredded U.S. dancefloors throughout 2007, with its desperate robot vocals and a sawtooth router bit. Formed by Ima Robot bassist Filip Turbotito and Chicago DJ Johnny Love, they have already remixed tracks from Klaxons and Chromeo. A forthcoming album, not picked up by a label so far, should make a serious impact on the culture of U.S.-bred dance music.
