The Little Dog Laughed is comical look into Hollywood’s closet

August 10, 2008• bySeattle Gay Scene

The Little Dog Laughed, at the Intiman Theatre, is Douglas Carter Beane’s Tony-nominated comedy about Hollywood—how it keeps its actors in the closet and its scripts straight—and the cost of what passes for happiness in America today.

The cast features four natives of Washington State: Neal Bledsoe as Mitchell, a closeted movie star; Quinlan Corbett as Alex, a tender-hearted hustler who develops a relationship with Mitchell that surprises them both; Megan Hill as Ellen, Alex’s girlfriend; and Christa Scott-Reed as Diane, Mitchell’s shark-like agent.

Actor Neal Bledsoe’s television credits include recurring roles on Guiding Light, As the World Turns, All My Children, CSI: NY and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Warning: This production will include nudity and sexual content!

The Little Dog Laughed runs Friday, August 15 through Saturday, September 13 at Intiman Theatre with tickets ranging in price from $10 to $48. Patrons aged 25 and under can purchase tickets to any performance for $10, pending availability. A limited number of $20 rush tickets may be available for purchase 15 minutes before curtain time, pending availability. The ’Round Six Happy Hour, with pre-show food and live music, is Friday, September 5 at 6 pm.
