Jet City Hoops is a new, co-ed gay basketball league that will begin their first season on October 18th. The league is open to people of all skill levels and the goal is to provide a fun competitive environment for players who enjoy or want to learn more about basketball.
“We’ve had a fantastic response so far and we have over 35 people who have signed up for the Jet City Hoops Fall League. With registrations continuing to come in, we should have enough players for at least six teams,” said Michael Coleman, Jet City Hoops PR Chair. We have a good mix of male and female players and we’ve had people sign up who played in high school and then some who have never played before but want to come out and learn in a fun environment. And because the goal is to have fun, every person is guaranteed to have playing time every game which is different from some of the other leagues around town.”
