Local celebrities TEAM GINA, the glamorous and popular hip hop glam duo, will be joined by Anaturale, the genderqueer MC from North Carolina and that hilarious genderqueer Athens Boys Choir, tonight October 22nd, at a very special retro dance party.
I’m assuming the Athens Boys Choir will just be Katz from, of course, Athens, Georgia. Local sensation, DJ Mathematix (Cherry at Rebar, Lick! at Chop Suey) rounds out this incredible lineup. They’re calling it a “Sock Hop” with prizes awarded for the best retro 50’s greasers, pink ladies, teeny-boppers, or even dressed as the cast of The Outsiders.
