The Kwanchai monthly Happy Hour starts up again this month on Friday January 30, 2009. Every month Kwanchai hosts a monthly Happy Hour that supports a different local nonprofit or charitable organization within our community at their office space in South Lake Union.
Their past recipients have included organizations such as Safe School Coalitions, Camp Ten Trees, Rise N’Shine, Lambert House and many other queer friendly groups. January’s Happy Hour will be in support of Equal Rights Washington. They list only one thing on their “Wish List” – “Monetary Donations in Any Amount.”
