Ginger Beer – My new passion in Australia

February 2, 2009• byBill W

Bundaberg Ginger Beer:

It’s always cloudy in a bottle of good, old fashioned ginger beer. Hold this bottle to the light and you’ll see it’s full of real ginger pieces, traditionally brewed to a genuine old recipe to release the natural flavours of ginger.

It’s non-alcoholic but it tastes wonderful.

– Bill W. in Melbourne, Australia

UPDATE: A four pack retails in Australia for about $4.50 AUD ($3 USD). Or you may be able to find in locally in Seattle at Cost Plus for $5.99 USD. Go check it out here and read the reviews.

Maaaaaate! Did you know that they make Rum in Bundaberg too? You may hear people ordering “Bundy and Coke”. If anyone offers you “Stone’s Green Ginger Wine” run away.

I don’t know if they have them in Melbourne, but try to get an iceceam called a “Golden Gaytime”. Boy, I miss them in summer.
