I can’t stop thinking about last Saturday’s Bowled and the Beautiful After Party at Chapel Bar. From beginning to end the crowd was a great mix and I am convinced that it’s hard to beat the talent of DJ Brian Gorr who finished the night with a standing ovation (OK, so everyone was already standing). We are so lucky that Brian is a local boy.
I think kudos need to be given to Gemini Events who successfully fit together the pieces to such an enjoyable evening for everyone in attendance at Chapel that night. The night began with many in attendance from an earlier HRC Bowled and the Beautiful fundraiser in West Seattle and progressed to include so many both familiar and forgotten faces from throughout the community. And like most of their parties I have been to in the past, the vibe between so many different kinds of people just seemed to click that night.
It seems to me that the usual crowd at Chapel was just overwhelmed by the unexpected large attendance at this event with a heavy concentration of gays continuing to fill the club right up till closing time.
Next up for Gemini Events is their ISH party on Saturday March 7, 2009 and every first Saturday of the month at Baltic Room. Check up on www.geminievents.com the week before an event for info and updates and to get on their VIP Guest List.
These are just a handful of the photos from Saturday’s party.
