Camp is now open at Triangle Recreation Camp!
Memorial Day Weekend (May 22nd – May 25th) is a big weekend at “TRC” and this year it is hosted by Camp Winnegayblo. Coming up June 12th to June 14th is Bear Weekend. August 14th – August 16th is their popular Foam Party weekend. And Labor Day Weekend (September 4th – 7th) is their final bash of the season.
The Triangle Recreation Camp/Bender Creek campground is located in Washington’s Mt. Baker/Snoqualmie National Forest, near the town of Silverton on the scenic Mountain Loop Highway. The driving distance is 68 miles from Seattle.
Triangle Recreation Camp has been the Northwest’s Premier Gay Owned and Operated Recreational Campground since 1975 and boasts they are a campground for gays and lesbians only. Even bisexuals are considered a “touchy issue” at the camp. Amazingly, they ask bisexuals to “leave any heterosexual behavior at the gate.”
Nudity is permitted but not near the main highway or on the main trail that others may be using. There are no reservations so the camp suggests that if it appears that it is going to be a sunny warm weekend “coming up early and staking your claim.” However, they claim the camp has never turned away anyone.
