Wildrose celebrates Lesbian Pride 2009 with a weekend of beer gardens, packed full of live performances and DJs!
On Friday June 26, the Wildrose beer garden is open from 6pm to Midnight with DJ Frankenheart, DJ Amateur Youth, DJ Mathematix and their annual Wet T-Shirt Contest. The action moves inside at 11:30pm with Lady Jane DJ and DJ Status Apparatus.
On Saturday June 27 the beer garden is open all day from 1pm to Midnight with special performances by Leslie & the Lys, Dutchess & the Duke, Thee Satisfaction, Thee Emergency, Telepathic Liberation Army, Weekend, Redwood Plan, Tacocat, Goon Squad, Hunk and his Punk with MC Ben DeLaCreme. Then inside Wildrose at 11:30pm with DJ Ponyboy.
On Sunday June 28 the Wildrose beer Garden is open from 1pm to 10pm with DJ Valentine, Sex Toy Drag Races, a Butch Contest, Sumo Wrestling along with DJ LA Kendall and MC Adrabro, Club TT’s DJ Judical, LOGO Network’s DJ Brynn Taylor (L.A.).
Seattle’s Annual Pride Butch-Off! @ 5pm.
Events list will not be released in advance, but to be a contender we recommend you train to participate in one of the following…or something equally butch:
1) Axe-wielding strut and wood-chopping contest.
2) Eat-the-donut-off-the-femme’s strap-on time-test.
3) Bobbing for boobies.
…and just do a lot of push-ups in public. That’ll definitely improve your odds of success. Competitors can sign up on the day of the event from 3-5pm in the Wildrose Beer Garden. May the butchest survive!
At 9:30pm the action moves inside to Wildrose with music from Seattle icon DJ Colby B.
