Today, Thursday July 23, Gay City is celebrating the publication of Gay City: Volume 2, an anthology of gay-themed, fiction, poetry, comics, art and photography and you’re invited.
Bailey-Coy Books, 414 Broadway Ave E starting at 7pm.
Contributors include multi-award-winning author, Ursula K. Le Guin (The Lathe of Heaven, The Earthsea Trilogy); novelist, syndicated columnist and NPR commentator, Marc Acito (How I Paid For College); and acclaimed comic artist, Eric Orner (The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green). Also included are a host of talented Seattle artists and writers such as Shane Rooks, Jan Stary, Eric Andrews-Katz, A Tyler Perry and many, many more.
The work addresses Gay City’s mission of preventing HIV transmission by building community, fostering communication, and nurturing self-esteem.
