Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence 2009 International Conclave is all this week as Nuns from around the world converge on Seattle at the “Retreat in the Emerald City”.
Events got started on Monday at 10am with the 13th Annual Conclave Opening Blessing/Picnic and baptism at Madison Park.
On Tuesday, July 14 at 8pm it’s Nun-e-oke at R Place:
What better way to spend a Tuesday night than with friends, 30 – 40 nuns and a smoking karaoke machine?
On Thursday, July 16, Nuns will be swarming Capitol Hill spreading joy and ministering to the masses. It all starts at 9pm, just look for the crowds.
On Friday, July 17, the Sisters invade R Place for a “Wicked Lashes Cabaret” at 8pm. Performances from the local talent and the visiting Sisters as well. You won’t want to miss it.
And finally, on Saturday, July 18, if you’re lucky enough to be downtown around 6pm, you may just catch two “Duck Tours” buses full of nuns taking in the sights.
From 8pm – 10pm it’s “Oz – The Sisters’ Anniversary Grant Party” at Cuff Complex, when they’ll be awarding thousands of dollars in grants to some fantastic and deserving charities.
But it doesn’t end yet. At 10pm it’s DJ Chi Chi LaRue at Cuff Complex. “Yes, THAT Chi Chi LaRue!” serving as the Cuff’s celebrity guest DJ from 10pm – 3am, $5 cover.
