The first annual Seattle Pride Official Artist art show and silent auction is this Saturday July 25 from 6pm – 9pm. The evening will feature elegant entertainment and memorable artwork in a world-class setting with spectacular views at The Olivian with free valet parking. A portion of all proceeds raised goes to benefit Seattle Out and Proud, producers of the annual Seattle Pride Parade.
This years Pride Art Auction includes three Official Artists of the 2009 Pride events. The artists selected are Lance Carleton (Sculpture), Michele Salazar (Painting) and Juli Sipe (Glass Art). Each artist will exhibit 10-15 pieces and guests will be able to bid on the artwork, should they choose to do so. To learn more about the artists check out www.seattlepride.org.
The show is free to attend. Check out www.theolivian.com for directions and to preview the fabulous venue. As a special bonus, everyone over 18 is eligible to enter a free drawing to Win a Vacation Giveaway For Two to New York City!
Saturday, July 25th 6pm – 9pm at The Olivian in Downtown Seattle, 809 Olive Way.
This is a good event for artists to attend, especially if they’d like to submit their work to SOaP for consideration for the Pride 2010 Official Artist program.
