Several different Happy Hour and Networking socials are happening in Seattle this week:
1) YPP Social: Tuesday August 25 The GSBA’s YPP (Young Professionals with Pride) meet at Poco Wine Room starting at 5:30pm. More details.
2) GPIS Social and Seattle Frontrunners: Thursday August 27, 2009 the one thousand person strong Facebook group “Gay People in Seattle” meets at Barca’s Happy Hour from 6pm to 9pm. More details.
3) Bella Events: Thursday August 27, 2009 the Bella Cocktail Party for professional lesbians (no, that DOES NOT mean women who are paid to be lesbians) and friends meet at BalMar in Ballard 7pm – 9pm to chat about art, culture, travel and “just plain stimulating conversation.” More details.
4) Basil Hayden’s Out Style Set: Thursday August 27, is the Basil Hayden event for the Out Style Set and is by invitation and RSVP only which I posted about on Sunday and then it promptly filled up. Sorry it’s all full now.
5) LGBT MeetUp Group: Friday August 28, the online Seattle LGBT MeetUp.com group will meet at Purr Cocktail Lounge starting at 4:30pm until the close of Happy Hour at 7pm. If you have not had dinner yet, no problem, attendees are encouraged to buy and try the food at Purr which they are claiming is “quite good.” Purr DJ starts at 6pm.
