Were bringn’ it back to the 90’s the decade when DJ L.A. Kendall and D$ came up! 90’s House Music All night long! You will hear “some” current jams but they will ALL have a “Disco House” influence!
With resident DJs L.A. Kendall (HotMess, Trinity, Hard Times) and Skiddle (C89 Drive @5, Sunday Skool, FIZZed) and special guests. On Friday October 2, 2009 JUICY welcomes Seattle House Music ROYALTY with DJ Sean Majors.
House music IS DISCO with an electronic background that originated in Chicago and named after the legendary Warehouse club.
It was initially popularized in mid-1980s discothèques catering to the African-American, Latino American, and gay communities, first in Chicago, then in New York City, New Jersey, Detroit and Miami. It eventually reached Europe before becoming infused in mainstream pop & dance music worldwide.
Some say that I Feel Love by Donna Summer, produced by Giorgio Moroder in 1977 is the first example of house music. Two decades later Armond Van Helden’s You Don’t Know Me would come to define a 90’s generation of house music:
