Make the Yuletide Gay, will be screening as part of the Seattle Gay & Lesbian Film Festival tonight, Tuesday October 21.
The gay-themed family Christmas comedy stars out Canadian star Adamo Ruggiero (“Degrassi: The Next Generation”), Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson from “Little House on the Prairie”), Gates McFadden (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”) and Daytime Emmy Award-winning Ian Buchanan, and many gay film favorites.
It recently had sold-out premieres at OutFest, QFest, and InsideOut Toronto, and it has won four Audience awards from FilmOut San Diego and the Seoul LGBT Film Festival. Fab magazine called it “a potential homo holiday classic,” while the festival said that “audiences were laughing so hard throughout the film they drowned out some of the best lines of dialogue!” It has so far gotten rave reviews across the board, both by critics and audiences.
This would be one of those film festival movies you don’t want to miss. Tuesday October 20, 2009 at the Egyptian Theatre at 9:30pm. Advance tickets are no longer online but may be available at the door for $10.
