The Holiday Concert, Santa Baby, is the first show from the Seattle Men’s Chorus 30th Anniversary Season and special guest artist Betty Buckley will join the Chorus for the first two performances (November 28 & 29) at Benaroya Hall. You can count on the Chorus warming hearts and tickling funny bones with glorious and glamorous holiday tunes.
This Broadway legend is known for her roles in CATS, Sunset Boulevard, and as Miss Collins, the gym teacher, in the 1976 cult classic Carrie. Thirty years ago she played the role of Abby, the aunt of actor Ralph Machhio’s orphaned character, in TV’s Eight is Enough, and each week she tried woo her way into Tom Bradford’s mildly dysfunctional family. Betty Buckley, will be joined by her accompanist, the accomplished jazz pianist Kenny Werner. You will find more info about Buckley here.
But even if you can’t make it to the first two shows don’t miss this year’s holiday concert playing throughout the December.
