WinterPRIDE returns to Whistler and this year the mountain is hosting the Olympic Winter Games most of February. The dates for Gay Ski Week at Whistler will begin on MONDAY this year March 1, 2010 and go until the following Monday on March 8, 2010. And WinterPRIDE is not just a gay men’s event. In fact, it is considered the most lesbian-friendly Gay Ski Week in the world.

There are different ticket packages which include events during just the weekday or just the weekend, or an extended weekend starting Thursday, and there is the Aprés Ski Pass for those wanting to go to bed early or there is even a pass for all the events during the entire week.

Also, “PRIDE House” will open its doors in the center of Whistler Village during the Olympics and is available for gay and lesbian athletes, coaches, family, friends and allies.
PRIDE House will be a hip lounge with a cocktail bar with TV monitors to watch the Olympics, hang out, trade pins, a media area to do interviews, and a venue to just have fun. PRIDE House will be designed with the core values of celebrating authenticity, diversity and inclusiveness.
PRIDE House will be open from February 8th through to March 21st from 10am – 10pm.
