Seattle’s Red Dress Party is this Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Naval Reserve Center South Lake Union. Doors open at 9pm and the party goes until 3:00am.
While the color red is commonly accepted as the international symbol of AIDS awareness, the Red Dress Party builds on that idea by encouraging all guests, despite age, gender or sexual orientation, to attend the event and wear a red dress. Red Dress is required; attitude optional!
This year the event welcomes back the Perry Twins and just announced DJ Joy will be opening for the Twins. Also, American Idol celeb, Kimberley Locke will be “crashing” the party. She won’t be performing but she’ll be hanging out and partying it up…she’s a huge supporter of HIV/AIDS charities. You may remember her from back in 2003 when she finished in third place behind Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard on American Idol. She is probably best known for her hit 8th World Wonder.
VIP tickets will sell out today! They are expecting a sellout for the entire event so get your ticket now and don’t wait to buy it at the door. General admisssion tickets are only $25 in advance. Please visit www.seattlereddressparty.org and support this outstanding cause.
NOTE: No one under 21 years old will be admitted and you MUST have a red dress on for entry or you will not be admitted – no exceptions!
So excited about this year's party!! I got my VIP ticket!! =)
Value Village has a run on red dresses in progress – gay men not familiar with lady sizes are having fits – very funny … this party has momentum.
I plan on red drinks, cranberry and vodka, red haired weed and red silky sheets …
Damn, VIP is Sold Out, but I got a GA ticket! Went last year, if it's half as much fun then it's still worth the $25!
