Talk about a cornucopia of local talent. The Swedish Housewife presents Thee Cornucopia Cabaret at Triple Door tonight, Thursday November 19, 2009 at 8pm.
Featuring Mark Pickerel and His Praying Hands [with “songs that might be played at a Tim Burton High School Prom”], Poppy Daze of the Aerialistas on a hoop, burlesque dancers The Shanghai Pearl and Belle Cozette, The Basements, El Vez, Waxie Moon the Manlesque Sensation and the Kung Faux acrobatic boy wonders of NANDA in a full half hour set!
Who could serve as the ring master for this cornucopia of madness? No human that’s for sure… only Scotty the Blue Bunny the 6 foot…ahem…man in a skin tight bunny suit with Rabbit Attitude a Mile high!
Tickets are only $15 and this performance is a benefit that will raise money for Treehouse “Little Wishes Program”, a Seattle organization that works with youth in foster care.
