Spend An Evening with Auntie Mame

December 17, 2009• bySeattle Gay Scene

“An Evening with Auntie Mame” is Thursday, December 17 for two screenings, 6:30pm and 9:30pm at Central Cinema.

Update: Tickets for 6:30pm are now sold out but tickets for the 9:30pm show (21+) still remain.

Celebrate the season with Three Dollar Bill Cinema and AUNTIE MAME. The beloved 1958 film starring the incomparable Rosalind Russell returns for one night only of festive revelry, a ‘homo for the holidays’ tradition.

“Life’s a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death,” according to Auntie Mame, but you’ll be free to feast on a spread of free holiday sweet treats and surprises, presented with best wishes from Three Dollar Bill Cinema.

Full menu and beer/wine available throughout the program. Yes! Now that’s the spirit. Last year their first screening sold out in advance, so get your tickets early.

Central Cinema, 1411 21st Avenue, $12.

“Please note: due to Washington state law, the 9:30pm show will be for ages 21+ only.” …Never knew Washington State had laws about shows starting at 9:30pm.

Everything you need to know and tickets are available at threedollarbillcinema.org.
