A Broadway Symphonic Spectacular at The Moore Theatre is this Friday, January 15, 2010. The Broadway Bound Children’s Theatre and the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra join forces for the first time to present young emerging artists from both companies in concert together honoring the American musical theatre.
This select group of young artists is drawn from the full Seattle community, ages 15-25, backed by an awesome onstage 100 piece orchestra. With stage direction by Jimmy Nixon, Broadway Bound’s Artistic Director, and with the orchestra under the baton of Stephen Radcliffe, this will be a one night only event of historic proportions.
Musical selections include the Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, and songs from Phantom of the Opera, Spamalot, Candide, Sunday in the Park with George, The King and I, and Les Miserables.
Tickets are just $15 or $50 includes a pre-concert reception and VIP seating. For more info and tickets, visit www.stgpresents.org.
