Mark Siano & The Freedom Dancers are returning with a final show of their Greatest Hits in “The Soft Rock Kid.”
If you’ve been Holding Out for a Hero then wait no more. Mark Siano and his foxy posse of Freedom Dancers will Fight For Your Honor –Karate Kid-style.
There will be six performances of The Soft Rock Kid from February 19-27, 2010 at ACT Theatre. This is a “greatest hits celebration” of the soft rock favorites that have afforded Mark & Company countless sellout performances at area clubs and theatres.
The Soft Rock Kid is a hilarious musical revue parody of the classic 80s film The Karate Kid and tells the story of how this musical comedy troupe went from zeroes to heroes in three short years. It’s packed with high-energy moves, enthralling sing-alongs and pitch-perfect comedic timing.
This is it. Mark and The Freedom Dancers will officially close the door on their extraordinarily popular soft rock period. Tickets to The Soft Rock Kid are $20 and I imagine these will sell out like every other show they have ever had.
The Soft Rock Kid is on Facebook.
