Food=Sex=Magic: Aphrodisiac Cooking with Robin Leventhal at Babeland!

February 9, 2010• byMichael Strangeways

hmmmm….this sounds like fun. Trust the folks at Babeland to spice up the doldrums of winter with this sexy food class taught by Top Chef contestant and ex-chef at Crave, Robin Leventhal:

The way to a lover’s heart is often through her or his stomach. Top Chef: Las Vegas contestant Robin Leventhal will show you how to prepare satisfying, sensual treats to woo that special someone. Learn what foods are aphrodisiacs and how to incorporate them into your lovemaking menu. Tastings will be offered. Tickets $35

Stop by Babeland at 707 E. Pike St. on Capitol Hill or call 206-328-2914 to reserve workshop tickets. Singles and couples of every gender and sexual orientation are invited to attend our workshops and events (18+ only). Buy workshop tickets in advance and get a $5 coupon to use on purchases the night of the workshop.

My only hope is, this isn’t some sort of re-enactment from “9 1/2 Weeks”…whipped topping is delicious on pie but it doesn’t taste very nice on beefcake…body hair and Polo cologne don’t mix well with Reddi-Whip!

Visit www.babeland.com for more info.

About the Author: Michael Strangeways

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
